Idea #1 - Agfa Success Seminar (Bill McCurry)
NEW PROFIT MAKING IDEAS - RECHARGE YOUR ATTITUDES

Apologies for missing last week's McCurry Marketing Idea Exchange - We're committed to making the upcoming Agfa Success Seminars overflowing with new ideas you haven't considered before. Chris Wagner has been helping me with interviews of leading imaging firms. Thank you all who have taken our calls and shared your wisdom.

The seminars start Tuesday, May 6 in Secaucus, New Jersey and go across the country from there. You can find more information at www.AgfaSuccessSeminars.com or (800) 926-2432

These are building business sessions - not sales pitches. If you'd like to set an appointment to speak with an Agfa rep about film, paper or equipment, put that request in the "comments" section of the on line sign up form, or tell the person taking your reservation on the phone.

The first morning session is designed for those who wait on customers as well as those who manage that function. The second two sections are designed for managers and/or owners who are responsible for increasing profits while keeping costs low.

We'll see you at a Success Seminar soon!

SHOW YOUR FIRM'S PERSONALITY - CUSTOMERS REMEMBER YOU

Every year at Christmas time our staff gets together for a group photo, we do a theme type photo like Charlie's Angles where we hold up our cameras like guns and pose seriously. Or we did "Hear no evil" one year and so on. We mail them out to our customers before the Holidays. They get a total kick out of it. Our customers actually hang them on the wall with the other cards and they look forward to the next theme every year. We even got new clients because of it. People even recognized us at the local Dominos. It's almost funny how well it works.

Idea #3 - Bob Banasik, Best Photo Imaging Center, Danbury, CT - www.bestphotolab.com
PUTTING THE FUN BACK IN FUNERALS

Yes, funerals can be a time for celebration of the life of the deceased. And what better way to share and tell about the memories of the dearly departed than through pictures. Working with local funeral directors we now will take a shoe box of the family's favorite pictures, make a collage and deliver back in 4-8 hours a 20x30 poster mounted and laminated - all for only $299. We tell the family not to worry about which pictures to choose - if there are one or two super special ones, they tell us - otherwise we just put together a pleasing cross section of the pictures in an artistic way. The families are very appreciative. They receive a CD of all the scanned images to reorder individual prints or more collages. At first we made 24X36 prints but those were just too big to be shown in the home after the service. We find the families appreciate the 20x30 size more.
